Oh, MAN, one of my biggest pronunciation pet peeves, immortalized in a children's book. Good ol' fashioned book burning, anyone??
Playing devil's advocate... is the book British? I believe "jewellery" is a British variant on the word (you know how the Brits like to spell things all crazy wrong, like colour ;-)
If it's not British - hang 'em high! :-)
Oh crap Kara, rain on my parade! It was printed in the UK. Sigh. Still, it's not right, LOL!
Crazy Brits, messing up OUR language. ;)
